The island has magnificent coves and bays, powdery, palm- fringed white beaches, sparkling island-dotted seas, sincerely hospitable people, superb seafood and delightful turn-of the-century Indo / Portuguese and Chinese-influenced architecture which create an enchanting ambiance Trip Duration - Full Day (08:00 - 18:00) Morning Session Depart from Khaolak directly to Phuket old town, to see the conserved Sino-Portuguese architecture of the 19th century. For example On-On Hotel, where Leonardo Di Caprio took a shot for the movie “The Beach”. Visit Temple Wat Chalong, the most beautiful temple in Phuket. Thai people from all over the country come here to show their respect for the noble sacred monk “Luang Por Chaem” and make a wish for a better life. We drive to “Central Festival”, a huge department store in town, for your own lunch Afternoon Session Visit the biggest jewelry store in the world at Gems Gallery International (By the Guinness Book of Records), there it's possible to purchase pearls of Phuket and other precious stone as ruby and sapphire. After that we proceed to Patong Beach, the most spectacular bay and beach. Enjoy shopping at Junk Ceylon the biggest Department Store in the south of Thailand or Bang La lane, the night life district of Patong. Hangout here until 16:30 pm when we return to Khaolak via a scenic route following Kamala, Surin, and Bang Tao Beaches. The drive back takes about 1 hr 45 min
